Being a Saltire scholar also enabled me to work in The States along with the beX scholarship. I spent 3 months working at John Olver Design alongside UMass students. My main project involved drone mapping of construction sites on Umass Campus using Trimble Technology - R10. I was also a part of an experimental research project where we investigated the structural viability of using New England species, Black Birch and Beech, in CLT. In order to determined the structural viability we produced CLT panels which were later on tested for structural viability using shear testing.What my day as a Saltire and beX scholar looked
