In my master’s research, I studied the relationship between obesity, metabolism, and how weight loss impacts the resting metabolic rate (RMR) in obese individuals. My work focused on understanding RMR changes after weight loss to promote healthier workplaces. Currently, I am a Disability Case Manager, managing disability claims and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support return-to-work outcomes. This role has strengthened my analytical skills and ability to prioritize health-focused strategies. As a personal trainer and group fitness instructor, I am passionate about helping individuals improve their health through physical activity and sustainable habits.
