ABOUT ZAREEN FATIMA

I am a final-year student who is interested in Securities Law, Capital Markets, and Corporate Transactions. Through my internships at leading corporate law firms, I have gained extensive exposure to a range of corporate and transactional matters, including capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and general corporate advisory. My work has involved assisting with IPO documentation, drafting and reviewing transaction documents such as Share Purchase and Shareholders’ Agreements, conducting title and insurance due diligence, and researching regulatory frameworks under SEBI, FEMA, and the Companies Act. I have also contributed to assignments involving fundraising, risk allocation in commercial contracts, and compliance with data protection, banking, and real estate laws. These experiences have strengthened my interest in pursuing a career in securities law, with a particular focus on capital markets and fund-raising transactions.
