ABOUT ZARA MACCARRONE

Academically motivated, I have consistently pursued opportunities for growth and learning, achieving success in my studies while balancing my professional commitments. Throughout high school, I maintained a 96% average, participating in SHIELD, Model UN, Mock Trial, Debate Team, and the Ski Team.I am now continuing my studies at Western University, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Organizational Studies with Advanced Entry Opportunity to Ivey Business School. Participating in extracurriculars including the Ontario Beta Chapter of Pi Beta Phi, the Western Equestrian Team, the Western Ski and Snowboard Team, the Pre-Business Student Network, Western Women in Business, and the Pre-Law Society, I am eager to connect with aspiring students.I am also a dedicated and passionate employee, with over 6 years of experience as a horse groom, where I honed my skills in animal care, training support, and team collaboration in high-pressure environments.In addition to my equestrian background, I am an Alpine Canada CSIA Level 1 certified ski coach with a proven ability to motivate and guide athletes of all skill levels. My coaching experience has allowed me to develop strong communication skills and foster a positive learning environment, helping my students achieve their personal best on the slopes.I’m excited to explore avenues for collaboration and growth with fellow students and peers.
