ABOUT ZARA IQBAL
I’m a Master’s in Data Science candidate at Columbia University, with a background in software engineering and applied machine learning from my time at Dell Technologies. My work has spanned building scalable AI solutions, designing intuitive front-end systems, and applying prompt engineering with large language models to drive measurable impact. I’m deeply motivated by opportunities where data, AI, and human-centered design intersect.Outside of work, I’ve enjoyed tackling challenges in hackathons and collaborative projects, winning JP Morgan’s CodeForGood and being a finalist at Accenture’s Hackathon. These experiences deepened my belief that data and AI can drive meaningful impact when paired with thoughtful design and collaboration.Today, I’m advancing my expertise at Columbia while exploring opportunities to apply my skills to impactful, forward-looking roles in AI, data science, and product innovation.
