ABOUT ZAN MAKAROV

I’m a Junior Full-Stack Software Engineer specialising in Web Development with ReactJS, JavaScript, CSS and HTML, confident with NodeJS, relational database - PostgreSQL and NoSQL database – MongoDB.My previous experience at Hornblower City Cruises London as Functions Manager allowed me to gain 6 years of managerial experience. Including coordinating operations of a team of over 20 individuals while working in a fast-paced, sales-focused and customer-oriented environment. One of my top priorities during that time was enabling team growth, process optimization and customer satisfaction.I have recently graduated from the Software Engineering Immersive Bootcamp at General Assembly. The course helped me to strengthen my existing programming skills by building 4 projects, gain experience by working in collaborative environment and project management skills by following strict deadlines and having to plan the workload while working full-time.
