Create and teach STEM-related experiential learning activities to high school students across the country in the form of hybrid labs, research presentations, and webinars.Featured as a panelist for a virtual webinar attended by over 100 students across Northern Virginia. During the event, called “Engineering: The World is Your Oyster,” the other panelists and I shared our motivations for entering a STEM field, gave advice to younger students, and discussed the role of engineering in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

ABOUT ALEXANDRA ZANDY WONG
Hailing from Northern Virginia, Alexandra Wong is currently a masters research student with the University of Oxford\'s Women\'s and Reproductive Health Department. Her research focuses on building computational models to understand the risk of adverse outcomes from pregnancy based on ultrasound data and medical demographics. She has also contributed to disability health research projects at the University of Oxford, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of Michigan, and Johns Hopkins University. In the 20••••25 school year, she completed a MSc in Applied Digital Health from the University of Oxford, and she also has a B.A. in Public Health Studies from Johns Hopkins University.Outside of the lab and classroom, is an internationally recognized speaker, sharing my story of growing up with hearing loss on the TEDx stage and industry panels to encourage acceptance and inclusion of people with disabilities. She has also served as a policy advisor for the U.S. Department of Labor, UNICEF, and UNESCO and founded the NextGen Accessibility Initiative to support the creation of digitally accessible education.She is a Rhodes Scholar, 2026 Forbes 30 under 30 Honoree, and 2023 Global Student Prize Finalist. Her work has been featured in the Guardian, the Washington Post, and Teen Vogue.
