ABOUT ZAINAB RIZVI

I’m an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto Mississauga, pursuing a specialist in Forensic Psychology with a strong interest in law and public service. As an undergraduate specializing in Forensic Psychology, I bring a strong interdisciplinary foundation and interest in the overlap between law and science.I’ve gained hands-on experience through my diverse experiences in numerous areas. I\'ve gained experience in legal settings through experiences such as mock trials through my executive position in ALT. I also have a scientific background in psychology through my program of study, and my contribution to research through my position as a Research Assistant at the HEAL Lab. I\'ve gained communication and problem-solving skills through my extensive retail experience at Shoppers Drug Mart, my experience volunteering for the UTMSU, and my leadership role as VP Communications for the Health, Law, Business Association. I am always seeking opportunities where I can contribute my knowledge from my diverse backgrounds. I\'m always willing to learn and grow, especially in spaces where the law, mental health, and social justice intersect. I bring in strong research skills, teamwork skills, and an open mindset to every role, and I’m eager to continue learning and make a meaningful impact in the law field and beyond!
