Selected for the prestigious SILBERSALZ Institute programme, a year-long intensive training in science communication.Key Activities and Learning-Participating in online and in-person workshops and masterclasses to develop advanced media skills for science communication-Collaborating with creative technologists, artists, and media executives to develop innovative science communication projects-Receiving one-on-one mentoring from media experts to enhance science communication abilities-Gaining insights into the European media and cultural landscape-Developing strategies for creating impactful science communication projects and securing funding-Attending industry events including CPH:DOX and the SILBERSALZ Science and Media Festival-Receiving pitch training and exploring financing opportunities for science communication projects-Working on transforming my research on oral cancer prevention and early detection into professional media formats.This fellowship complements my ongoing oral cancer research and aligns with my goal to effectively communicate scientific discoveries to the public and drive positive change in oral health globally.
