ABOUT ZAID ABUHAMDA
My name is Zaid Abuhamda, and I am a fourth-year undergraduate student at Georgetown University, majoring in Government and double-minoring in Arabic and Philosophy. My academic focus lies in political science and the law, with a particular emphasis on historical and scientific approaches to Middle Eastern politics. Beyond the classroom, I have been actively involved in university-based clubs and have interned at nonprofit organizations dedicated to debate, research, and political activism. I am passionate about reading and writing on topics such as Islamic history, modern Arab politics, and the impact of Western foreign policy in the Middle East. I also take pride in my argumentation and public speaking skills. In the future, I plan to attend law school and pursue a legal career advocating for vulnerable populations. I also aspire to an academic career where I can teach and raise awareness about critical issues in international and Middle Eastern politics.
