I manage and contribute to a diverse portfolio of research activities related to strengthening health information systems and strategic information sources. My activities include providing techncial assistance to Government of Malawi institutions for the roll out of Sample Vital Registration with Verbal Autospy (SAVVY) in Malawi as part of the establishment of a vital registration system, designing and managing a study of characterization of male partners of adolescent girls and young women in Swaziland, provide technical assistance and support to the Priorities for Local AIDS Control Efforts (PLACE) Study among high-risk populations in Guyana. Previously I have been involved in a community-based monitoring activity using Lot Quality Assurance Sampling (LQAS) in Liberia, co-facilitated multiple two-week trainings on basic data management, analysis and interpretation using Stata for key ministry officials involved in data collection and analysis, and analyzed nationally-representative household survey results of women\'s health in Russia.
