Construction Management:Field work consists of developing relationships with clients and landowners to aid in the successful completion of our projects. Implementation of a thorough quality assurance / quality control program ensures clients are provided with the best quality end product. Responsible for on site management of subcontractors for substation, switchyard, and transmission projects. Other responsibilities include inspector management, SWP3 implementation and maintenance, material procurement and tracking, engineering coordination/management, field survey assistance, billing, project start-up and closeout, scheduling and resource management, daily, weekly, and monthly reporting. I also provide safety oversight as part of my construction management duties. Personal construction projects to date have included transmission lines (69 kV to 345 kV), switchyards (up to 230 kV), substations (up to 230 kV), and underground collection (34.5 kV). Projects have been a combination of greenfield and brownfield construction. Project Management:Project management roles include the bidding of substation, switchyard, and transmission line projects for clients all over the US. Some responsibilities include project initiation after award, projected cash flows, subcontractor selection, scheduling, production tracking, vendor management, engineering management, inspection management, billing, reporting, and quality program implementation.
