About Zack Azzam
I\'m an advisor in the Technology Assurance practice of Ernst & Young LLP. driven by curiosity, resilience, and commitment to building a better working world. Prior to joining the firm, Zack obtained his Bachelor of Engineering on Petroleum engineering from the Lebanese American University in Beirut, Lebanon. He practiced engineering for a year in between Dubai and Beirut to then move to the United States to get his Master of Science in Management degree with emphasis on Information System – Business Analytics. Then he worked as a Production/Data analyst with a food manufacturing company in Akron until he joined EY as Technology Risk consultant now known as Technology Assurance. With an achievement-driven attitude, Zack performed a multitude of work assignments and projects including System and Organization Controls (“SOC”) reports, IT risk and control framework design and assessments of automated and IT General Controls (ITGCs) as part of SOX, Financial Statement audits, and operational audits, specifically regarding vulnerability management for multiple long-term fortune 500 clients in the food manufacturing industry, materials manufacturing industry, and technology.
