As an inquisitive, hands-on research scientist, I thrive on tackling complex challenges and advancing drug discovery from the earliest research stages to clinical nomination. With a strong foundation in designing and executing in vivo models, my work bridges the gap between scientific exploration and real-world therapeutic applications. Throughout my career, I\'ve demonstrated an ability to quickly master a diverse range of lab techniques, from animal surgeries and behavioral analysis to data interpretation and clinical translation. Whether collaborating with cross-functional teams, partnering with outsourced CROs, or providing guidance on translational studies, I am driven by the goal of making an impact to improve patients\' lives.Core Expertise:Preclinical Research & Drug Development: Spearheaded the design and execution of a novel preclinical testing pipeline at the University of Pittsburgh\'s Aging Institute, where I developed innovative assays and surgical methods that remain in use today. My research has been recognized by top-tier institutions, and I\'ve published over 23 peer-reviewed manuscripts.Therapeutic Discovery & Candidate Nomination: At Sage Therapeutics, I played a pivotal role in advancing drug candidates through preclinical pipelines.
