Leading development from MVP to the current subscriber-only alpha release of our Extraction game mode, frequently communicating with project owners to rapidly deliver a playable alpha at breakneck speed with an extremely lean team.• Built online architecture for our extraction inventory system and item marketplace, creating a system to support our live-service model and weekly update cycle• Aided in interviewing and hiring process for team members, and helped with onboarding new team members and mentoring interns• Spearheaded development of new grenade/tacticals system, developing unique new tacticals, including a thermite grenade that uses a flood-fill algorithm to spread fire in an area, a bouncing vortex mine, and many more exciting, upcoming tacticals• Debugged and fixed 100s of crashes in new and legacy systems• Improved firearm netcode, greatly increasing efficiency and eliminating extra data sent to clients• Performed network profiling to identify problem areas and quantify network improvements• Used Unreal Insights to profile performance of different tactical grenades and the Extraction game mode and identify/resolve areas for improvement.
