Research technical accounting issues, prepare memos of guidance, and present recommendations to management. • Provide recommendations of process improvements or elimination of immaterial or nonessential entries or duties. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and other periodic journal entries, account reconciliations, and executive summaries. • Prepare ad hoc financial requests, regulatory-required calculations, and internal and external audit requests. • Assist, train, and provide feedback to other accountants and review their work as needed. • Serve as technical accounting representative and point-of-contact for multi-departmental projects. • Lead monthly meetings with other department management in relation to accounting estimates. • Perform project user acceptance testing of systems and data used to implement new Current Expected Credit Losses (CECL) accounting standard, including data querying and analysis and project organization for accounting function.
