Overall responsibility for the day to day running of the transport and warehouse operation. Managing the local team to ensure the all UK > NI / IRE delivers are on correct and on time. Ensuring all product is collected from sites around NI / IRE and brought back to our site for consolidation in a timely and cost effective manner. Managing the export team to ensure all NI / IRE > UK exports are planned to customer needs and cost effective for the business. Managing the warehouse team to ensure all pallets are picked / loaded correctly as per customer specifications.Keeping in constant open contact with all customers to ensure they are properly informed and continually adapting daily to ensure the customers needs are met and kept up to date with their deliveries.Working under pressure and providing solutions to problems that occur internally to ensure our team provide honest and reliable transport.
