As an Economist and Program Manager, I am team lead for the NOOA Ocean Enterprise Initiative where I work with a multidisciplinary team to: Develop and manage the NOAA Ocean Enterprise Initiative, including managing ambitious project schedules to advance the development of a sustainable US and global marine economy, including- Ocean Enterprise Accelerator Program- managed a national network of sustainable business accelerators, targeting 300 US entrepreneurs and small businesses to commercialize sustainable marine technologies that address global industry energy, climate, national security, and sustainability goals-Lead a cross-functional team of scientists, analysts, and engineers to develop reports on economic analysis and sustainability key performance indicators (KPIs) of the US marine economy for DOC and NOAA executive leadership-Collaborate with private sector partners including JPMC, the Marine Technology Society, investors, off-shore wind developers, and international stakeholders to advance sustainable maritime industry development-Lead economic studies and innovative products, tools, and Tableau dashboards that support and advance leadership decision-making.
