I create footwear design solutions for Brooks inline extensions, brand partnerships and collaborations, special/regional make-ups and am the lead color designer for Lifestyle footwear. I am able to do so by identifying and executing new color, material, finish, graphic and trend ideas backed by market research and a deep understanding of the consumer mindset. Storytelling, sketching, crafting original prints, prototyping, curating region-specific color palettes that are differentiated from inline product, and ensuring new materials meet Brooks standards for fit, feel and ride are also integral parts of my job. I collaborate with the footwear design, apparel graphics, merchandising, product marketing, brand creative, 3D CAD, material design, development and sales teams and also provide feedback and guidance to Associate and Designer I.
