I am an Information Systems student at Brigham Young University\'s Marriott School of Business, where I am building a solid foundation in technology, data analytics, and business strategy. With a 3.90 GPA, I am driven by a desire to combine technical skills in programming (C#, SQL, and Web APIs) with innovative problem-solving to make an impact across diverse industries.Currently, I work with a development team for BYU Police and Security. We are developing a dynamic API endpoint for administrators to automate activities and disperse information within the organization. Other projects of interest include frontend development for form submission and utilizing Docker to reduce server storage of an application by 50%.My achievements in areas of interest include-> Web APIs- Inherited a long-term project and started backend development using Microsoft.NET. Facilitated ERD relationships and corresponding delete behavior between entity variables. Utilized frontend and backend logic to establish a middleware between two systems and create a dynamic endpoint to save administrators and employees hours of time-> Machine Learning- With a team of 3 other students, developed a website using React and Microsoft.NET in a project of 70+ hours. Leveraged Python data analytics to create a machine learning pipeline to recommend movies based on user input. Machine learning algorithm recommended 5+ movies based on category, past ratings, and specific movies-> User Experience Design- Enhanced user experience at Rose Fitness by identifying and documenting 5+ key pain points based on user feedback. Collaborated with a cross-functional team to ensure the development team prioritized the proposed modifications.
