Hi, I am Zachary A. Jackson, Ph.D, but I go by Dr. Zach. I am a curious, forever learner, who always looks for ways to grow as a data professional. Currently, I have over 9 years of experience collecting data, analyzing primary and secondary data, cultivating client partnerships, and presenting to all types of stakeholders. I have a knack for identifying gaps, running and interpreting data, and then translating complex research and data findings into easily understandable material, evidenced by my publications and presentation awards from conferences. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated robust expertise in assessing large data sets to obtain actionable insights for driving informed decision-making. I do this by conversing with stakeholders to identify their goals and asking clarifying questions to understand the unspoken question or solutions they want. I am proficient in using ETL processes, conducting exploratory data analyses (EDA), writing queries to join several different sources, discovering trends in data, and creating visual dashboards to tell the story. I primarily use SQL, Python, and Tableau. I am driven by challenges and love solving the puzzles that lie in structure, unstructured, or raw data. Outside of data, I enjoy visiting plant nurseries to add to my 30+ plant collection or taking in loved ones\' plants and nursing them back to health.#PlantRescue.
