About Zach Gladney

I am a partner in the New York office of Alston & Bird, LLP, and a member of the firm’s State and Local Tax Group. I focus my practice on tax controversy and transactions relating to state and local tax matters involving income, franchise, sales and use, gross receipts and other business taxes. In 2007, I earned a LL.M. in Taxation from New York University and in 2006 I earned a J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where I served as an editor of the A.B.A. Real Property, Probate, & Trust Journal. I am also proud to have been chosen by my professors for the Albert C. Todd, Award for exhibiting an ability in tax and for possessing personal qualities such as academic aptitude, integrity, industry, leadership and interpersonal skills. I received my B.B.A. from the University of Georgia in 2002.I am admitted to practice in New York and South Carolina.
