I manage a team of merchants who maintain the fresh produce and specialty deli (fine cheeses, charcuterie, soups, entrees, desserts etc) areas of the store. Combined these areas gross near 400k of revenue per week. I am the liaison between the end market merchandising and sales process and the procurement/ logistical side of the business. As such, I have oversight over the practical/operational concerns of the business and direct input in terms of product mix and category management as I work with counterparts at corporate. It’s a fun an interesting position that allows me to be on the front lines of a rapidly growing mass scale produce dept.
