ABOUT ZACHARY DUNBAR

My StoryMy journey began at the University of South Carolina, where I majored in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resources. While there, I served as President of the Residence Hall Association, representing over 6,500 residents and advocating for their needs. This experience taught me how vital effective communication, collaboration, and leadership – skills that I\'ve carried with me throughout my career. My PassionMy time at the University gave me the opportunity to meet the coldest brothers (pun intended) I could have asked for, when I joined Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. It was with them that I understood the importance of service and using that service to help anyone who needs it. I\'m passionate about helping people understand their benefits and making sure they have the information they need to make informed decisions. I believe that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare, and I\'m committed to doing my part to make that happen.I\'m known for my ability to connect with people and make them laugh. I believe that a little humor can go a long way, especially in a field like HR, where people are often dealing with complex and stressful situations. Beyond connection, I have knowledge of benefit administration and the systems that house them. After receiving my Insurance Producers License, I have had the wonderful opportunity to assist hundreds of individuals select and process their benefits through systems used by their own corporations. I\'m excited to continue growing and developing my skills. I\'m passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of others, and I believe that HR is the perfect place to do that.I\'m always looking to connect with new people and learn new things.
