About Zach Williams

My current role is Worksite Regional Vice President overseeing Southern California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Alaska and Hawaii; I work remote for Assurity out of Las Vegas. I joined Assurity in May of 2019 as a Sales Intern and have worked as a full-time member of the Worksite Sales team since May 2020 following my graduation from college at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. My passions for building relationships and sales are at a perfect crossroads as I assist agents and brokers in finding comprehensive and fully customizable voluntary benefit and life solutions for employer groups.During my time as a Cornhusker, I majored in Marketing; earning my diploma in May 2020, accompanied by minors in Management & Entrepreneurship. I\'m also an alumni of Sigma Nu fraternity where I served in 2 executive positions.Following graduation, I worked in a Sales Support role for the first year and a half before managing the Internal Worksite Sales in Texas & Oklahoma for Assurity. In 2023, I transitioned to the Internal Sales role on the West Coast which I worked for 3 years before entering 2026 as the Regional Vice President for the region I oversee now.A bit about myself, originally from Shorewood, Minnesota half an hour west of the Twin Cities; I played football, soccer, basketball, golf and snowboarded growing up, I attended Minnetonka High School (Class of 2016) and I am a big Vikings & Timberwolves fan. I remained in Nebraska for 2 years following college and moved to Las Vegas in the summer of 2022. Some of my hobbies outside of work today include golf, working out, travel, nightlife, and attending live sports/concert events.

   Prospecting uncontracted independent Worksite agencies and meeting with said agencies to discuss Assurity’s product suite-Working closely with existing agencies to support their current business and providing insight on how Assurity can assist them in reaching their goals-Requires strong knowledge of Assurity’s products and how they interact and compare with other employee benefit programs-Consistent travel required to various areas of the region, planning events and running meetings with new and existing contacts in said markets-Working side by side with Regional Wholesaler partner to support our agency partners’ goals-Attending various industry events to help grow Assurity’s overall brand visibility and speak with contacts in the industry
