About Zachary G.
I seek to guide people to deeper understanding of systems in order to empower transformative change to those systems.I am an educator and non-profit professional with wide-ranging experience across community organizations, funders, K-12, EdTech, and higher education.I feel equally at home training community members in the intricacies of PowerBI, Salesforce, or Excel as I do re-envisioning what school can look like from the ground up. I\'ve served as a data analyst, collective impact facilitator, grant-making manager, AmeriCorps team leader, and teacher and I bring all these experiences with me in all that I do. Helping others use data wisely is core to my work.I am committed to pursuing educational equity and I have a fundamental belief in the transformative power of learning for youth and adults, as well as for organizations and communities.My work is deeply informed by the principles of collective impact, deeper learning, youth voice, systems thinking, improvement science, and restorative practices.It is my goal for all youth and adults to develop as wise, passionate, innovative, empathetic people who can craft meaningful lives for themselves and work together to create a more just and peaceful world for us all.
