About Zachary Welch
Since beginning my studies at Cornell University in 2019, I have worked to immerse myself as much as possible in the sports industry. I was fortunate enough to graduate in 2023 with a Bachelor\'s of Science in Industrial Labor Relations, along with experience working across the industry, and leading two sports clubs on campus. I have spent the past few years working purposefully towards working in basketball operations and scouting. This has led me to working with both men\'s and women\'s college teams, scouting and intel consulting groups, and an NBA agency. Beyond this, I have consulted with NBA teams about their intel gathering for the draft since 2020. I have developed a skillset including scouting, intel, video, operations, analytics, and more. Now, I am pursuing my MS in Sport Management at UMass Amherst, where I am looking to continually learn, grow, connect, and build towards my goal of working in scouting and basketball operations long-term.
