I’m an inquisitive software engineer who loves to pick up new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies and adapt them to the current problem I’m trying to solve. I came to the field by way of my former job: coming from sales and customer service, I worked on a pilot project that required statistical and data analysis skills and the usage of specialized software. As an end-user I was often curious about how they worked under the hood and how you would go about fixing any bugs they had, sparking a wider interest in software engineering. As a leader in the insurance industry, I had to ensure that I had effective stakeholder communication and grew relationships with superiors, peers, and direct reports.
