Collaborated with four engineers to create an open-source application that stress and load tests applications via HTTP routes, helping developers ensure appropriate performance under varying levels of traffic and budget constraints, generating valuable statistics for review and analysis-Engineered a high-performance Next.js app with server-side rendering that reduced page load times by 50%; implemented best practices for SEO and accessibility-Integrated React to design an interactive user interface for the input of testing parameters. And, incorporated React Hooks to manage state and create reusable components and to manage conditional rendering-Streamlined the application development process by introducing TypeScript and ensuring consistent typing conventions across the codebase; reduced the number of errors in production and bug resolution time by 25%-Integrated Wrk2 to facilitate of HTTP requests via multithreading. Instructed through Lua scripts, generated and executed from the front-end interface-Customized Plotly to generate histograms of response latency percentiles (0%- 90% and 99%)-Deployed Prometheus and custom exporters to collect 30+ metrics from user\'s systems and Docker containers, enabling the user to monitor application health metrics via Grafana Panels-Enabled users to embed additional Grafana panels in the application as Grafana offers tools to build custom panels for unique datasets, and a massive collection of pre-made panels from its community-Employed TailwindCSS as the primary styling tool for in-line styling without the need of a global stylesheet or multiple CSS modules; facilitated responsive design for numerous screen sizes.
