I was playing music professionally in Philadelphia and got a bluebird call from Len Subick of Gamm Air about an opportunity in Phoenix Arizona. I was very excited to hear more. In February of 2010, I received a call from Jeff Cooper, the Past President of Cooper Aerial. We talked about the aerial photography position and how we could work together. I accepted the challenge and took one of the biggest leaps of my career, I got on a plane and flew 2400 miles to AZ. The entire thing gelled from day one and I continued my learning. This job has allowed me to utuilize autonomy, while still hitting very high results for quality and responsibility. In June 2011, I survived a plane crash in Truth or Consequences, NM. The plane was totaled, fortunately, the pilot and I were not. It basically changed my life. After this, I began Shadowing Chris Seck, Dave Major, Phil Gershkovich, Emily Awbrey and Steve Costin on how to become a Project Manager for the company. I have been in this position since 2011 in an assistant role and became full fledged Project Manager in September 2012. I now work with many local, state and governmental bodies to perform Aerial Surveys. Through Cooper Aerial, I have also become a key contributor to the LiDAR and UAV Program / Sales Team. After surviving the cut through a President to New President deal, my intent / hope is to continue in this direction and serve my clients to the best of my ability with the support from my great team at Cooper Aerial.
