ABOUT ZACHARY MCFANN
I am a professional civil and traffic engineer with nearly nine years of experience in traffic engineering and intelligent transportation systems (ITS) design, planning, and analysis projects. I have worked with both public and private sector clients primarily in Southern California and my experience includes traffic engineering design, traffic intersection operations and modeling, planning level traffic studies, and fiber-optic master planning. My key areas of expertise include traffic signal design, signal interconnect design, street lighting design and photometric analysis, Dark Sky ordinances, and signing and striping design.Outside of work, I am an avid sports fan (especially NBA and NFL) and am passionate about hiking, golfing, snowboarding, skiing, and traveling. I also enjoy visiting new coffee shops, breweries, and wineries, and I love watching/reading/discussing anything regarding drama television, fantasy books/shows, and Survivor.
