About Zachary McCrea
As a Senior Director at Eli Lilly and Company, I lead a team QA subject matter experts who provide support for the formulation, filling, and automated visual inspection of cartridges / vials at the Indianapolis Parenteral Manufacturing facility, ensuring the highest level of quality and compliance for drug products used by patients around the world. I graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor\'s Degree in Biological Engineering, with a focus in Cellular and Biomolecular Engineering and a minor in Biotechnology. Previous experiences in the pharmaceutical industry include leadership of complex deviation investigations, cross-functional change management initiatives, batch disposition, and demonstration of regulatory compliance across numerous governmental health agencies. My core competencies include aseptic processing, isolator and RABS filling, manual and automated visual inspection, current good manufacturing practice (cGMP), organizational change management, and lean manufacturing. I have had the pleasure of leading global and local teams, and have had significant experience with building strong quality culture at experienced sites as well as new greenfield site deliveries. I am motivated by the opportunity to apply my engineering skills and diverse pharmaceutical manufacturing knowledge to deliver innovative and safe solutions for patients\' needs.
