ABOUT ZACHARY EVANS

Attorney at Zimmer Kunz PLLC located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. My practice areas include civil litigation and toxic tort litigation. Additionally, I have experience representing clients in criminal proceedings and as creditors in bankruptcy proceedings. After earning a bachelor\'s degree in economics from the Pennsylvania State University, I attended law school at Duquesne University School of Law where I was awarded the CALI Award on two separate occasions. During law school, I contributed to the school\'s Juris Magazine as a staff writer and traveled to Belfast, Northern Ireland and Dublin, Ireland where I studied the laws of the European Union, International Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Human Rights. Through externship programs provided by the school, I worked internationally at Von der Fecht, LLP as a liaison between the Dusseldorf, Germany law firm and its clients exposed to bankruptcy proceedings in the United States of America and spent a year with the Allegheny County Public Defender’s Office. After graduating from Duquesne University School of Law, I was admitted to the Pennsylvania State Bar and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania in October 2017. Since my admission to the Pennsylvania bar, I have been employed as an associate attorney and have gained substantial experience drafting pleadings, discovery, general motions, including dispositive and pretrial motions, and appellate briefs. Additionally, I have first chair civil jury trial and arbitration experience.
