ABOUT ZACHARY APPLEBY
I am an undergraduate student at the University of York studying BSc Economics. I have a keen interest in financial markets and I’m currently looking to pursue a career within this field. I have completed an internship in BlackRock’s ETF and Investing division. I led a pitch on a selection of ESG iShares ETFs to a high net-worth client. I have also completed an internship in Forvis Mazars\' Asset Management Audit team. I learnt the complexities of audit assurance and helped complete a half year review audit for one of Europe\'s largest asset managers. I work as a senior data analyst for the Griff Investment Fund in the Green Technology sector. My role is to pitch long term equities that match the funds macroeconomic outlook. I also write up quarterly reports on current stock holdings. I have also fulfilled customer service roles at firms such as, PureGym and McDonalds.
