1. Tableau Data Visualization Manager

   I work for the joint venture between Trane Technologies, and Red Ventures called Magenta Technologies as the Tableau Data Visualization Manager. My work primarily focuses on managing the data pipeline from the Amazon RedShift table to the Tableau dashboard. Currently, that equates to over 30 dashboards, 50-plus users, and a plethora of SQL queries and views.\\\\n\\\\nThe primary functions of my role:\\\\n\\\\nGather data requests - Meeting with key stakeholders to understand their needs and the feasibility of using our data environment to achieve the goals outlined.\\\\n\\\\nWrite Queries - Understanding the stakeholder\'s needs, I develop queries using SQL to pull the necessary Amazon Redshift tables to flesh out the required data points.\\\\n\\\\nPublish Queries and Extract - Once I validate my queries for accuracy, I will create views of them for my fellow analysts and publish Tableau extracts for my dashboards.\\\\n\\\\nTableau Administrator - Manage everything related to Tableau. That includes dashboards, users, provisioning, data refreshes, and subscriptions.\\\\n\\\\nDevelop Dashboards - With the queries I create, I can build out visualizations that key stakeholders require. The highlights include daily KPI updates, coverage mappings, website health statuses, and market analysis.\\\\n\\\\nPresent Findings - After I analyze the data and build a dashboard, I share how to use the tool and provide key takeaways from the project. Once I create a dashboard, the core questions that sparked the project will always be accessible.\\\\n\\\\nMaintain Data Repository - Keep a record of my queries and dashboards so individuals within the company always have a location to learn how to use my data.\\\\n\\\\nAd-Hoc reporting - Take care of any one-off requests where I am the subject matter expert and the quickest resource to get results.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
