Publish weekly, the Senate History publication on behalf of the California State Senate.•Produce an updated list with all Senate history actions, of all Senate measures and governor\'s appointments, moving through the two-year legislative session.•Provide the Legislative Information System with data relating to legislative history actions of all Senate measures.•Process and assign numbers to legislation introduced by California State Senators, as it crosses the Senate desk.•Chart all adopted, chaptered, enrolled, and vetoed Senate measures working their way through the Senate and Assembly.•Compile a list of all Senate measures authored by each Senator, in addition to measures authored by each standing committee.•Arrange a list with the status of the California State Tribal Compacts as they relate to ongoing legislation.•Account for all legislative measures originally referred to each standing committee.•Produce and post on-line, a daily summary with all Senate actions taken on each legislative day.
