ABOUT ZACH N.

I am a third-year student at USC Gould School of Law focused on developing a career in litigation. I am drawn to the work of building a case from the ground up, understanding how facts and procedure interact, and turning complex disputes into clear and persuasive arguments. My work experience has allowed me to serve as the primary point of contact for clients, conduct factual development, attend meetings, and draft formal complaints under federal and state law. Working directly with clients taught me how to identify what matters most in a case, manage competing demands, and move matters forward with care and precision. As Editor-in-Chief of the Southern California Review of Law and Social Justice, I work closely with authors to refine arguments, strengthen structure, and ensure clarity. Editing at this level has reinforced my interest in written advocacy and the strategic thinking that drives effective litigation. It has also shown me how to shape a narrative, anticipate weaknesses, and communicate complex ideas in a way that is accessible and compelling.Through hands-on client representation, journal leadership, and coursework, I have developed a strong interest in written and oral advocacy, procedural strategy, and the discipline required to litigate effectively. I am interested in connecting with practitioners who value thoughtful preparation, principled advocacy, and a deliberate approach to litigation.
