Negotiated the terms of a $200+ million lease on behalf of the agency for a new headquarters, saving the agency more than $150 million, while enabling the buildout of a state-of-the-art broadcasting facility for Voice of America (VOA). Worked closely with brokers and attorneys to craft favorable concessions and termination provisions for one of the largest transactions in Washington since the COVID-19 pandemic.Leads relocation planning efforts for the agency, engaging directly with C-Suite leadership and stakeholders across the organization, overseeing a team of consultants and junior practitioners in gathering requirements for the new facility and building a comprehensive relocation plan. Manages relationships with landlord, architects, engineers, and contractors, communicating agency needs and facilitating collaboration between parties.Utilized lessons learned to design solicitation for prospective sites for a new HQ for the office of Cuba Broadcasting (OCB) and evaluate candidate properties.
