About Zach Mack
I’m an award-winning producer, storyteller, and host with a passion for creating compelling audio and video podcasts. I’ve recently had the opportunity to report and host a season of NPR: Embedded and an episode of This American Life. Right now, I\'m helping Vox Media dive headfirst into video podcasts and YouTube optimization. In the past, I’ve worked on some of the most popular and acclaimed podcasts out there, including Binge Mode (Time Magazine’s #1 podcast of 2017) and The Rewatchables (Apple Podcasts “Best of 2018”) for The Ringer, as well as Today Explained (Ambie & Webby Award Winner), and Land of the Giants (AdWeek & Webby Award Winner in 2021) for Vox Media. I also created and hosted Greetings from Somewhere, an independent travel series that Outside Magazine called “impeccably made” and Podcast Review described as a “breakout star of the genre.”When I’m not making podcasts, I enjoy traveling the world, dishing hot takes about TV, film, and sports, or biking around Brooklyn in search of spicy vegetarian food.

Led the video transition and relaunch of Vulture\'s Good One podcast on YouTube. Previously - Showran and senior produced 3 seasons of \'Land of the Giants\'(Netlifx, Apple, Tesla)- EP of \'Peak a collaboration between Vox Media and Spotify- Showrunner of \'Little America\' a collaboration between Vox Media and AppleGenerally, I oversee the development and production of a variety of shows and projects for the Vox Media Podcast Network, as well as manage a team of video editors and producers.
