About Zach Johnson

I have over 15 years of experience as an electrical engineer in the electric power industry. My experience includes protection and control design, power system studies, and distribution line design.I helped co-found Power Relaying Solutions, PLLC (PRS) in January, 2015. PRS is an engineering services company specializing in protection, control, and automation solutions for the electric power industry. Our services include power system design, protective relay applications, automation and integration solutions, commissioning, and training.Prior to joining PRS, I worked for SEL Engineering Services as a protection engineer. With SEL, I gained experience in programming and testing a variety of protective relays for transmission, distribution, and generation projects. Additionally, I worked as an electrical engineer at Southeastern Consulting Engineers and also co-oped at UC Synergetic.Colleagues know me as a hard worker and very detail oriented. When working on projects, I strive to exceed customer expectations in the quality of my work.I graduated with a BSCPE and BSEE from North Carolina State University.
