About Zach Johnson
I\'m Zach Johnson. I was born and raised in southwest Minneapolis. Actively served from 20••••11 as a combat engineer in Kaneohe Bay Hawaii. Deployed twice with 1st Battalion 3rd Marines. Once to Iraq in the Karma/Garma area and once to the southern part of the Helmand province just south of Marsha. Combat wounded Veterans (Purple Heart recipient). In my free time, I like to spend time with my family and my friends. I\'m an outdoorsman and enjoy fishing and hunting. In the summer I spend a lot of time at my cabin in Deerwood, MN. And in my spare time, I work with Project Delta which helps get service animals to Veterans and with a few not for profits that take Veterans hunting and fishing. I\'m involved with the St Louis park Legion where I am a member and I also bartend on occasion.
