ABOUT ZACH JENKINS
Throughout my life, I’ve been driven by one thing: growth. Whether scaling sales teams or optimizing marketing strategy, I’m energized by turning untapped potential into measurable results. I stay closely attuned to market realities and love studying how technology reshapes industries in real time.At 18, I left my hometown of Modesto, California for Calgary, Alberta, choosing growth over comfort and familiarity. There, I played collegiate football and earned my degree in Economics from the University of Calgary. After graduating, I declined traditional corporate roles to pursue an entrepreneurial path. I joined a small local business I had worked at while finishing school, a furniture store that was my great uncle’s newest venture.I began as a sales associate at Furniture Extreme and steadily assumed more responsibility, eventually buying into the company and becoming an equity operating partner. I led our sales organization, refined operational systems, managed our paid social strategy and consulted on purchasing and merchandising decisions. I Even spearheaded a full rebrand from Furniture Extreme to Canvas + Loft - elevating our brand perception from strictly price conscious to value focused. Over my tenure with Canvas + Loft we successfully scaled revenue from less $1M to over $7M annually out of a single location that was only 7900 square feet, far superseding industry expectations of a location that size.Years later, with the business thriving, my relationships intact and my role fulfilled, I felt a familiar pull, the call to grow again. Leaving Canvas + Loft and Calgary meant leaving comfort, relationships, and a chapter I had poured my heart and soul into (blood, sweat and tears included). But I’ve learned that growth often requires stepping away from what is good to pursue what is next.So without much of a plan or professional and personal connections; I moved to San Diego to begin my new chapter…bringing with me the lessons of entrepreneurship, leadership, salesmanship and marketing expertise with a renewed hunger to build something meaningful. At the core of everything I do is my life’s purpose: to honor God by serving others. I believe business is a powerful vehicle to do just that, by helping teams flourish, empowering families to provide and prosper, and building organizations that create lasting impact in their communities.
