About Zach Jackson

After being a student athlete at the University of Tulsa for two years, I decided I needed to take different path in terms of my education and soccer career. In the Summer of 2016, I transferred to Furman University in Greenville, SC. It\'s always been my dream to play professional soccer. In order to do this without sacrificing my education, I needed to get ahead in my coursework in order to complete my degree in 3 & 1/2 years. Each Summer throughout college, I enrolled in 8-12 hours of classes, and enrolled in 16 hours worth of classes each semester to do so. I was able to achieve my goal by graduating in December of 2017, and signed my first professional contract with the Rio Grande Valley Toros of the USL shortly after. As I wanted to develop my career from a business perspective, I worked part time as a Marketing Manager at Bruegmann USA, Inc, a retail merchandising solution firm out of Houston, TX. From 20••••19, I played professional soccer full-time while dedicating 25 hours a week in my role executing various marketing projects. In January of 2021 (after I \'hung up the cleats\'), I was promoted into a full time business development role at Bruegmann USA. In the role, my mission is to identify opportunities with retailers and brands to introduce Bruegmann\'s capabilities and portfolio of merchandising solutions.
