About Zach Guptill
Engineer, Content Creator, Offroad Navigator and Race MechanicBachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Grand Canyon UniversityWhat do you get when you mix a detail-oriented mechanical engineer with a full-throttle off-road racing enthusiast? A hands-on innovator who thrives at the intersection of precision and adventure. With eight years of SolidWorks expertise and nine years in manufacturing and prototyping, I’m just as comfortable tweaking CAD models as I am behind the wheel of a custom-built off-road rig.My career has taken me through design engineering, quality management, and advanced manufacturing, where I’ve developed a knack for transforming ambitious ideas into rock-solid realities. I’ve tackled everything from optimizing manufacturing processes and writing SOPs to leading root cause analyses and driving lean initiatives—always with a practical, results-driven mindset.I\'ve honed my skills in high-pressure, fast-paced environments where the stakes are high, and the solutions need to be flawless. These experiences shaped my love for collaboration, problem-solving, and chasing big, ambitious goals. When I’m not working on precision projects, you’ll find me diving into the adrenaline-packed world of off-road motorsports. Building, testing, and pushing vehicles (and myself) to the limit. It’s more than a hobby; it’s my creative playground and a constant reminder that innovation thrives where passion meets purpose.Let’s connect and talk shop—whether it’s about engineering solutions, career opportunity\'s, the perfect suspension setup, or where to find the best trails.
