Founding member of the Data Warehouse team responsible for building data pipelines, working with the business/product to define requirements, architecting the data ecosystem, and building the backend data infrastructure to support keystone projects Network Optimizer and Vectyr API. Brought dbt to the organization to simplify the transformation layer and created the orchestration and CI/CD deployment of our dbt project. Used python and native AWS components to scale up data ingestion to our Data Warehouse 15x faster. Designed a job orchestrator in AWS to kick off data pipelines and run the dbt models. Performed database optimization, fine-tuning, and query-rewrites in Postgres to reduce long-running queries by 50-100x.
