About Zac Simpson
As an aviation engineering professional, I’ve dedicated my career to connecting Alabamans to their jobs, families, and communities. Aviation infrastructure serves as an engine for local economic growth and is crucial to our overall national economy; and throughout my career I’ve led large airfield modernization programs at commercial service and general aviation airports across Tennessee, Kentucky, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and my home state of Alabama. I’ve worked in three different FAA regions and with five ADOs within those regions. Some of my project experience includes airfield site selection, runway extensions, apron expansions, aircraft hangar construction, and multiple airfield rehabilitations using an array of methodologies. For me, though, it’s about more than marking a project complete. It’s about working with my clients to find innovative solutions that solve the problems of today while setting them up for success in the decades to come.
