Zac Ryder is the Co-Founder and Co-CCO of Modern Arts, an agency for the post advertising age.In 2025 Zac and his partner Adam Groves were named The Campaign US Creative Team of the Year for leading the agency’s groundbreaking work in the brand entertainment space including WhatsApp’s Grand Prix winning 30-minute documentary WE ARE AYENDA, which streams on Prime Video and WhatsApp’s most recent film The SEAT, a feature length documentary now on Netflix, where it reached the coveted Top Ten in over 25 markets.Prior to starting Modern Arts, Groves and Ryder co-founded The Lab at Anonymous Content, the brand studio inside the Oscar and Emmy winning production and management company. During more than six years at Anonymous, the duo worked in collaboration with top producers, filmmakers, screenwriters and actors from across entertainment to create several award winning branded projects.Having spent the first chapters of his 20-year career as a creative director in the traditional ad agency world, Zac brings a unique perspective to the process, combining business minded strategic thinking with well honed creative instincts and the ability to work closely with clients and creators at the highest level.Zac also serves on the Impact Advisory Council of UCLA’s Center for Scholars and Storytellers, a youth centered organization that pairs leading social scientists with top Hollywood creators to help them make entertainment that better supports the mental health of the next generation.
