I am a synthetic organic chemist with a passion for recruiting, external collaborations, next generation technologies, and natural products research. DEI is very important to me and recruiting provides an excellent starting point to make an impact, but it goes beyond recruiting, as I also focus on development, STEM outreach, and advocating for colleagues.As Corteva Crop Protection Discovery & Development (CPD & D) recruiting leader, I work directly with the CPD & D Global Leadership Team to enable our strategic work force growth. I will also partner closely with functional leads to attract the best talent to Corteva Small Molecule Discovery & Development, Integrated Biology and Field Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, Formulations Chemistry, Biologicals & Natural Products, and our R&D Operations Center to meet the business needs while ensuring a best-in-class recruiting & on-boarding experience in order to hire a diverse and talented group of scientists who will shape the future of Corteva R & DIn addition to leading recruiting, I also work directly with the CPD & D Collaboration Leader to leverage key learnings from external collaborations and Next Generation Technologies to identify talent aligned with these growth areas and will continue to have technical contributions through many external collaborations aligned to the CPD & D strategy.Previously, as Corteva Natural Products Team Co-Leader, I lead Corteva’s Natural Products Synthetic group, my team and I focused on drawing inspiration from Mother Nature to develop sustainable agricultural solutions for farmers across the globe.
