What started as “just absence management” turned into leading HR for 500+ people (and yes, I still have a sense of humour).• Absences? I digitalised the entire Return-to-Work process, manage long-term sick/maternity cases, and keep welfare checks human.• Employee voice? I run wellbeing surveys, exit/stay interviews, and actually use the feedback.• ER? Grievances, disciplinaries, investigations, letters, handled fairly and with zero drama.• Ops & Data? Created a smart tracker, report into reviews, and keep things audit/CQC-ready.• Collaboration? Payroll, quality, operations, I am the HR glue.• Culture? I plan the socials, lead on recognition, and keep morale alive (even on a Monday).• Basically? If I got hit by a bus tomorrow, the HR machine would still run. That’s how solid I have built it.
