Higher Education Leader | Strategic Innovator | Inclusive Pedagogy Advocate With over 20 years’ experience in higher education, I bring a proven track record of shaping institutional strategy, enhancing the student experience, and leading award-winning pedagogical innovation. Currently serving as Dean of Screen at University of the Arts London, I oversee cross-disciplinary programmes in Film, Television, Animation and VFX, with a focus on student success, sector impact, and global engagement. I have led major transformation projects—from closing attainment gaps and embedding inclusive practices across the student journey, to co-developing creative apprenticeship models and immersive technology pilots that align academic teaching with industry futures. My work is grounded in critical education research, with published outputs on race equity, decolonisation, and curriculum co-creation. As a committed academic leader, I champion equity and belonging, foster interdisciplinary learning environments, and collaborate across academic, technical and industry partners to empower the next generation of creative practitioners.
